Description for AWS E6013

Features:
AWS E6013 is carbon steel welding electrode covered with a high titania potassium type coating. Both AC and DC can be applied, and it is applicable for all-position welding, including vertical-down welding. It shows a very good welding performance with small spatter, easy restrike arc and very good weld shape.

Application:
Suitable for welding low carbon steel structures and low carbon galvanized plate, especially applicable for vertical-down welding and intermittent welding.

Attention:
a.Generally, welding electrode donot need bake before welding.
b.If damped, the electrodes should be baked for 0.5-1 hour at the temperature of 150-170℃ before welding.
