How reasonable storage electrode


(1) all types of welding rod must classification, grades ,, stacked avoid confusion.
(2) the more electrodes must be stored in dry warehouse is recommended at room temperature below 10 ℃, relative humidity less than 60%.
(3) various types of welding rod storage, must be high off the ground 300mm, 300mm from the wall more than storage, avoid moisture.
(4) general electrode once the library is not the amount of the amount of more than two days, has a library of electrodes must be kept secure.


Electrode custody

The quality of storage electrode has a direct impact on the welding quality, especially when working in the field should pay special attention. Each welder, curators and technicians should know electrode storage, custody rules. When welding rod factory, all of the electrodes have a certain moisture content, it becomes the model according to the electrode, the water content is normal, that is the formation of pores have a safety factor of water content, has no effect on weld quality. All had electrodes can absorb moisture in the air at a relative humidity of 90%, welding rod coatings absorb water quickly, ordinary alkaline welding rod sticking out one day old damp very serious, even a relative humidity of 70% increase in moisture coating also fast, only in a relative humidity of 40% or less, the long-term storage electrode was not the first affected.

Because of the large difference between day and night humidity, moisture in the air condenses into dew morning very easy, very easy to wet electrode packaging. When the electrode longer storage time is very easy to damp, so it is best done in the first storage electrode to use.
