E6013 welding electrode characteristics selection

Selection of welding E6013 welding electrodes shall ensure structural safety, under the premise of practical use, is based on the chemical composition of welding materials, mechanical properties, thickness and joint type, welding structural characteristics, stress state, structural conditions on weld performance requirements after welding construction conditions and technical and economic benefits such as integrated test, targeted selection E6013 welding electrode, the need for welding tests, if necessary.
When steel welding E6013 welding electrode selection of points (1) isotype
① considering mechanical properties and chemical composition of weld metal
For ordinary structural steel, usually requires the weld metal and base metal strength, etc., should be used in the deposited metal tensile strength equal to or slightly higher than the E6013 welding electrode base material. ④ consider the construction and economic conditions

In a small or poor ventilation of the occasion should be used in low dust acid E6013 welding electrode or E6013 welding electrodes. Welding work on large structures, conditions should maximize the use of high efficiency E6013 welding electrode, such as iron powder E6013 welding electrode, high efficiency gravity E6013 welding electrode, the specific E6013 welding electrode selected bottom E6013 welding electrode or E6013 welding electrodes of the vertical downward and the like, in order to improve welding productivity.
