Flux-cored wire as a new type welding material is developing rapidly in recent years, obtained wide application in the industrial developing countries. From 1985 to present, japan electrode accounted for the proportion of the whole welding materials decreased from 45% to 20%, the proportion of flux cored wire has reached nearly 30%. In united States, electrode dropped to less than 40%, the flux cored wire is close to 40%; in Western Europe the electrode accounted for 30%, flux cored wire accounted for about 20%. In recent 10 years, the proportion of traditional electrode of industrial developed countries is declining, but the flux cored wire proportion in the whole welding materials is greatly improved.
