AWS A5.4 E309L-16

Despcription:

A. E309L-16 is a lime titanium ultralow carbon electrode for stainless steel. Both AC and DC can be applied. The weld seam metal contains low carbon and it has excellent mechanical properties and shows good resistance to intergranular corrosion.

B. It can be used for all position welding with excellent performances: stable arc, small spatters, good appearance of welding. And also the welding electrode shows good heat-resistance character, not easy to turn red and gas porosity is not produced.

Applications:

Suitable for welding stainless steel structures of synthetic fibre, potrochemical equipment as well as for welding of similar structures. Also it can be used in dissimilar steels and clad steels.
